We interrupt our Nobody's Ever Changin' Their Mind About Nothin'-Fest™ for some pics requested by various family members, of the current goings-on in our late summer's end. In no particular order, I grabbed these:

Gorgeous photographs. Lucy is a stunner, seriously. I don't mean just "pretty," although she is that. She has, well, a light in her eyes -- curiosity, eagerness, intelligence, humor.
Wish I could hear your band, Ian. Can you post a recording sometime? (video or audio) My consolation is that Saturday night we'll be seeing Los Lonely Boys play at Paradise Rock Club in Boston. It's been a couple of years, and I am psyched!
Agree with Anne re: Lucy. Simply radiant.
Also, she may have picked your shirt, but damn... those shoes?
Bless your heart.
Ya'll look very uh, 'european' there at the links. Hope you broke a window, or a club, or a hundred strokes for the round, whichever makes you happier. And I'm as enviously green as those loud-arse golf spikes of commenter Anne and her Los Lonely Boys concert plans--love them muy mucho.
Trust the strand was indeed grand and happy end of summer.
The shoes are those crazy Pumas - the black ones were $125, the green ones were $15. I chose the green ones, because, well, I'm already married.
And I wanted to wear white pants on Labor Day.
Hence, I looked like THAT.
oh my GOD they are getting so BIG!!!
sigh.
babies growing up.
LOL, reminds me of one of Jeff Foxworthy's original schticks where he imagines a cadre of regular guys who fashion police each other--(friend picking up friend to go bowling, --"Damn Bill, you're not gonna wear that shirt with those shoes are you? It's past Labor Day for chrissake!)
What an attractive group! And thanks for the politicks break. My colorist makes enough damn money.
