A little TOO MUCH family time. I kept trying to find a dark corner to crawl into to be alone.

I was going to say "too short," but I'm at my desk now and it feels right -- and I feel energized and positive, even given that my alarm went off at 5:55 am after 10 days of sleeping in.

Also, I completely cleaned my office before closing up on 12/23, and it's lovely to come in to a bare desk with neat files waiting for me.

Overall, pretty good. It was great to get back to the Dean Dome to see a live basketball game with my kids. However, by the end of the holiday, I think the kids and I definitely needed a break from each other (the boys especially needed to get back to their respective classes and friends). So, two hours into the work day...I'm still ok :).

very good... spent the week between christmas and New years in my beloved New Orleans.. great music, food and adventure. Christmas day was one of the better ones this year.

happy new year, everyone! mine was remarkably great...10 days with extended family in belize, but we managed to give each other space, help out with my 2-yr-old niece, and really put work and worries behind us.

i'm feeling queasy, though, as i head in to give notice today at my post of 4 years. i know there's swelling excitement in the pit of my stomach, too, as 2010 will hold a new job, new challenges, and all that. but for the moment, i'll feel sick to my stomach until i've resigned...

wish me luck!

Great holiday with lots of family time. Ben and I are missing his Daddy whom I am picturing locked in the B of A building like Rapunzel minus the long hair.
